iOS App Review: PanoPerfect
iOS 6.0, the latest iOS released by Apple, introduced Panorama on the iOS device's camera. It's a very simple implementation and Apple did it perfectly. Now I've took some panoramic pictures using my iPhone 4S camera and I'd like to be able to share them. Some have shared their panoramas on Instagram but it does not look good. It's cropped squarely and the image looks small.Now enter PanoPerfect, an application which I have discovered from Cult of Mac. PanoPerfect is a photo sharing application right on your iOS device dedicated for panoramas. I did not think twice downloading this application. It's pretty cool to instantly upload panoramas right on your iOS device after taking them. Here are snapshots of the application after downloading it and creating my account.
PanoPerfect is still at its infancy and the application absolutely has a lot of potential. Right now, you still cannot edit your pictures from the application but imagine if that can be implemented on a future update. You also cannot take panoramas directly from it but you can easily upload the photos you have taken from your Camera Roll.
PanoPerfect has just released its first update and it includes some of the enhancements below.
- An all new discover and notifications tab
- The quality of panoramas have increased
- Option to share your panorama anytime after uploading
